Delete Your Personal Data
Last updated: July 7, 2026
You can request that Tribeunal delete your account and the personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains exactly how. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What deletion does
When your account is deleted we immediately remove your identifying information — your email address, name and any connected login identities (Facebook, Google) — and delete your private data such as contacts, notifications, and your token and rewards history. Your public contributions (cases, votes and comments) are retained but anonymised, so that community decisions and vote tallies remain accurate while no longer being linked to you. See our Privacy Policy for full details on the data we hold and how long we retain it.
Option 1 — Delete your account yourself (fastest)
If you can sign in, you can delete your account instantly:
- Sign in to your Tribeunal account.
- Go to your profile settings and choose
“Delete account” (or open
/profile/deletedirectly). - Confirm by typing your username (and your password, for password accounts).
Your account is deactivated and your personal data erasure begins right away.
Option 2 — If you signed up with Facebook
If you used Facebook to sign in, you can remove Tribeunal from Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites. Facebook then notifies us to delete the data associated with your Facebook login, which we process automatically.
Option 3 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, email us and we will verify your request and delete your data:
- Email [email protected] from the email address on your account.
- Use the subject line “Delete My Data” and include your username if you know it.
We will confirm and complete your deletion request within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.
